Insolvency

An inevitable by-product of the growth of the TCI economy and the Islands' growth as a financial centre has been an increase in the volume of corporate receiverships and liquidations.

The firm's insolvency team has been involved in almost all of the significant insolvency and receiverships which have occurred in the TCI to date. In the immediate past, these include the liquidation of a large international insurance company incorporated in TCI, the receivership of a major Providenciales hotel resort, representation of associated parties in the insolvency of a TCI securities brokerage, the receivership of a TCI-registered Chinese property developer and the liquidation of an insolvent local corporate services provider.

The team's services include the giving of advice on all aspects of TCI liquidations and receiverships to local and international legal and accounting professionals, the appointment and removal of liquidators and receivers, securing corporate assets, advising on claims by and against liquidators and receivers and on all other aspects of corporate recovery.
