What can I do for you?

I focus on a breadth of complex commercial and civil litigation disputes involving high-value, cross-jurisdictional matters, working closely with Ariel Misick OBE KC. My current caseload includes trust disputes; challenges to jurisdiction; claims to set aside contracts entered into under economic duress; and a nuisance dispute between multi-million dollar property developers. From drafting pre-action opinions to formulating skeleton arguments and negotiating settlement agreements, I welcome dealing with all elements of litigation and dispute resolution. My disciplined work ethic, natural passion for the law, and client-oriented approach are central to obtaining the optimum result for all of my clients.

Supporting my clients’ objectives

I recognise that my clients share a common objective. They rely on me and our first-class litigation team at Misick & Stanbrook to combine our experience, knowledge, and energy to focus on resolving their disputes in their favour as skillfully and efficiently as possible. I am committed wherever possible to also seek suitable, pragmatic, and commercially sound solutions without the need for litigation.

Qualifications

I am a law honours graduate of the University of Wolverhampton and completed my Diploma in Legal Practice (Commendation) at the University of Hertfordshire. I was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales and of The Eastern Caribbean (Anguilla) Supreme Courts in 2000 and as an Attorney of the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2017.

What else should you know?

Prior to joining Misick & Stanbrook in January 2017, I was a well-established lawyer in the Eastern Caribbean region, working with prominent counsel and leading firms.
