I have 30 years’ experience in the Turks and Caicos Islands most of which has been involved in property, finance and general commercial work. I have been involved in every facet of property acquisition, development and sales during the growth of the Turks and Caicos Islands over the last three decades. I have also assisted in major financing projects both locally and internationally acting for major institutional lenders and individual and corporate borrowers. Qualifications
I am a graduate of Strathclyde and Dundee Universities in Scotland and was admitted as a solicitor in Scotland before moving to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1987. I have been admitted to the Bar of the Turks and Caicos Islands since 1988 and have practised here ever since. I am both a notary public and justice of the peace. I have been the president of the Bar Association and have sat on statutory various boards over the years, including a ten year tenure as a director of the Financial Services Commission.
