KAREN WILLIS – CALLED TO THE BAR

Misick & Stanbrook are delighted to announce that Karen Willis was called to the Turks & Caicos Bar in March 2014 before CJ Goldsbrough – Chief Justice, and welcome her as the newest member of the Misick & Stanbrook team of attorneys.

Prior to being called, Karen worked closely under the guidance of Owen Foley to complete her pupillage, and has been actively involved in the negotiation of a development agreement for a Latin American investment group, the preparation of the legal infrastructure for major residential and resort developments within TCI, and the acquisition of a significant TCI company by a major global telecommunications company.

Before commencing pupillage with Misick & Stanbrook in 2013, Karen was an already established and experienced lawyer in England and Wales, where she worked for several leading and pre-eminent commercial firms, specializing in high value residential and commercial real estate work together with undertaking many prestigious commercial transactions including a $150 million purchase of a major transport company in the UK.
